I build the parts of software people touch, and lately the parts underneath them too. Seven years of frontend work, and these days I'm designing schemas and writing the API for the features I ship. A running theme: taking something messy (availability rules, event calendars, course progress, campaign logic) and making it feel simple. React, TypeScript, React Native, and a soft spot for animation with GSAP and Three.js. At Pairing OU I've built the booking system, events, a Facebook-style community space, trainings, and email systems. The booking system was the hardest: per-date availability overrides, recurring schedules, and three calendar views that all had to stay in sync. If it needs to look good, load fast, and not confuse anyone, that's my job.

Highlighted works
East Africa Hearing Aid Center helps people hear again, so the site had to feel human rather than clinical. I built it around real patient testimonials and a 3D-driven landing, with booking a first visit reduced to one short form.

Natnael is a product manager with a broad range of work to show, so the site leads with a filterable project index instead of a long scroll. Capability cards, leadership metrics, and client logos back it up without crowding the page.

Hambaricho exports Ethiopian green coffee, so the site follows the bean from farm to bag. A dark, editorial scroll carries the catalog, the sourcing story, and the export process without ever feeling like a spec sheet.

Setaweet has been organising Ethiopian feminists since 2014, so I turned a decade of monthly circles, films, and testimony into one browsable archive. An interactive map plots the movement’s reach region by region.

In just 19 hours, I spun up a digital archive to share the powerful stories of women affected by war. With expressive animations and a heartfelt design, it’s a space for voices that matter.

This gym wanted a site that felt as energetic as their workouts! I built a fast, responsive page with custom animations, so visitors get a taste of the vibe before they even walk in.

We had just two weeks to launch a kids’ learning MVP, so I went all-in—real-time quizzes, leaderboards, and a playful UI. The result? A fun, interactive platform that got everyone excited to learn.

For Oli’s, I teamed up with the owner to build a fun, modern website that really shows off their knitting. We kept things clean, added some cool animations, and made sure it looks great on any device.

N2Collection needed a smooth shopping experience, so I built both their online store and a mobile app. Now customers can browse, order, and track everything easily—plus, the team can manage it all in one place.

I led the front-end for Etiocart’s CMS and SPA, making it way easier for teams to manage tickets, games, and more. We added real-time analytics and smart access controls, so everyone could get what they needed—fast and secure.

“Working with Nathan has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. As a frontend developer, he brings a deep and impressive understanding of a wide range of tools. But what truly sets him apart is his eye for design, he doesn’t just build websites that work; he creates digital experiences that are beautiful, intuitive, and thoughtfully crafted. Nathan has that rare combination of technical skill and creative vision. He understands not only how things should function, but how they should feel for the user. Whether it’s the layout, the flow, or the smallest visual details, he gets it right, and often goes above and beyond expectations. He’s always ahead of deadlines, incredibly focused, and easy to communicate with. “I’ve worked with many developers, but Nathan truly stands out. The websites he delivered exceeded my expectations in both design and functionality. What impressed me most was his attention to detail - every layout choice, interaction, and performance aspect was clearly thought through rather than rushed. Communication with Nathan was smooth and proactive throughout the process. He didn’t just execute tasks, but actively made suggestions that improved the final product, showing a strong understanding of both technical and business needs. Deadlines were respected, feedback was implemented quickly, and the overall quality of work was consistently high. If you’re looking for a developer who is reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about building high-quality websites, I highly recommend Nathan.”
